Rep. André Carson’s Statement on the Passing of Marilyn Glick

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman André Carson released today the following statement regarding the passing of local philanthropist Marilyn Glick:

I am deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Marilyn Glick.  Her generosity and compassion transformed our city beyond description, and her legacy is quilted on the landscape of our community through establishments such as the Indiana History Center, the Marilyn Glick Eye Institute, and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends as they say goodbye to this incredible woman.  Our city is a better place for having known her, and our community’s future is brighter because of her extraordinary work.
