As a Member of the House of Representatives, my primary responsibility is to cast votes on each piece of legislation that is considered and debated on the House floor.  Each year, I have an opportunity to represent the concerns of Indiana's Seventh Congressional District on thousands of unique issues by voting Yea or Nay on each of these bills.  To view information on legislation that is scheduled to receive consideration in the House, please visit the links under House Proceedings below.

While serving in Congress, I occasionally have the privilege to author and introduce legislation on issues that I consider to be priorities.  These bills may enact critical policy changes, adjust current federal law, or recognize important individuals and organizations in American society.  I am also able to sign on as a cosponsor, voicing my strong support for legislation is that addresses issues I consider to be especially important.  Becoming a co-sponsor means that I will do my best to promote the bill and encourage further support among my colleagues so that it can receive a final vote on the House floor.
